Fender Musical Instruments is one of the two greatest American guitar companies in the world. Leo Fender the founder and legendary visionary founded the company in 1946.

 Since then it it has created some of the most unique and legendary guitars. Two in particular the Fender Stratocaster and fender Telecaster are still in production and have proven the original design and creation of Leo Fender could not be improved upon.

 The same for the Fender Precision bass and Fender Jazz Bass two models that are still in production and could never be improved over their original design even though Fender tried.

Over the years Fender Musical Instruments launched several other model guitars that were popular and collectible in their own right. The Fender Jazzmaster , Fender Jaguar , Fender Musicmaster, Fender Mustang , Fender Duosonic are a few other great models Fender Musical Instruments produced over the years.

We agree that all these other models are important to both players and collectors but due to the available space we will limit our discussion to Fender Stratocaster and Fender Telecaster parts.

Fender guitars more than Gibson guitars I feel have a more recognizable sound and this I believe adds to their undying  mystique and attraction.  The guitar market has exploded over the years making certain model and era guitars extremely collectible and very expensive.

The market is very specific. If a person wants top dollar for their guitar it must be 100% original and in ex condition. Originality is the most important and the condition is the second most important condition in the market.

This brings us to the Fender guitar parts market. The parts have become almost as important as the guitars because with out original parts the instrument are  considered player grade and not collectible. So with a little investment in  the correct original vintage parts and a little time a person can not only restore the guitar to original condition in many cases double and triple the price of the guitar.
